Business Analyst

Business Analysts Training

Business Analyst Role

The Business Analyst role is one of the critical roles in information technology sector. This position plays critical role in acting as a liason between business stake holders and technology development teams. It acts as a bridge between business ideas and business capabilities; creating and scoping valuable changes and optimizations to business processes. Typically in IT driven business world, a large proportion of the changes and optimizations relate to software systems – and so teams responsible for creating, maintaining and delivering IT systems, are a primary focus. Conventionally, this has proven to be a difficult relationship, with challenging communication issues or mis-interpretations of requirements/expectaions often lead to wasted effort or rewrite of software systems.

Our Training

The focus of our training is on business analysis within a project environment, initially supporting the assessment of change proposals, assisting the development of business cases, defining the scope and objectives of the project, defining the requirements for change and then supporting both the technical and business delivery of those changes. We focus on the business analyst's responsibilities as a change facilitator throughout the business change lifecycle regardless of whether the organisation is 'agile' or using waterfall approaches. Our training provides business analysts with the key skills to effectively contribute to business change projects, train in a 'way of thinking' and analysing that delivers the right result first time with minimal cost and maximum benefit.
